God has a specific purpose for leaving Christians on earth after salvation: to be His witnesses. While activities like worship, prayer, and fellowship continue in heaven, the opportunity to share Jesus with those who don't know Him exists only here. As Jesus stated in Acts 1:8, believers receive power from the Holy Spirit to be witnesses throughout the world.Being an effective witness involves three key aspects: telling what you know about Jesus, sharing your personal experiences with Him, and remaining loyal despite opposition. You don't need theological credentials or perfect presentations—just a willingness to share how Jesus has transformed your life. Many Christians hesitate to witness due to fears of inadequacy, but the Holy Spirit works through our limitations. The most powerful testimony is simply sharing what Jesus has done for you personally. The church's greatest need isn't political power but the Holy Spirit's power, which changes hearts rather than just laws or leaders. Being a witness may make you unpopular with the world and cost you dearly, but that's what Scripture says will happen. All God needs to change the world is cooperation from His people—He does most of the work while we make ourselves available to share our experiences with Christ.
